Refund & Cancellation Policy

This page explains the refund rules and cancellation methods for CarNote subscription plans and CarNote credits add-on packs. All refunds are issued in New Taiwan Dollars (TWD / NT$) and returned via the original payment method.
1. Subscription Plans (Starter / Gold)
Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time on the /en/billing page or by contacting customer support. After cancellation, your current billing cycle will remain active until its end, and automatic billing will not resume after expiration.
Refund Conditions
- Within 7 days of your first subscription and if no more than 10 CarNote credits have been used in the current cycle, you may apply for a full refund.
- If more than 7 days have passed or if more than 10 CarNote credits have been used in the current cycle, no refund will be issued. However, you can immediately cancel the next automatic billing.
- Plan upgrades and downgrades do not entitle you to a refund of paid amounts. For the effective date and proration rules, see Section 6 of Payment Information.
2. CarNote Credits Add-on Packs
Add-on packs are one-time purchases and are permanently valid.
- After purchase, if no add-on credits have been used within 7 days, you may apply for a full refund.
- If any credits have been used, the product is considered consumed, and no refund will be issued.
- Refunds only cover the specific add-on pack purchase and do not affect your subscription plan.
3. How to Apply for a Refund
- Email support@404table.com with the subject line "Refund Application - Your Registered Email".
- State the order date and reason for the refund.
- Customer support will respond within 5 business days of receipt.
- Once approved, the refund will be processed via the original payment method. The time it takes for the funds to appear in your account depends on your card issuer's processing time (typically 7-14 business days).
4. Exceptions
- If your account is suspended due to a violation of the Terms of Service, no refunds will be issued for fees already paid.
- If system failure prevents use for more than 24 hours, you may apply for a prorated refund for the affected period. The refund is calculated as "current monthly fee ÷ 30 × full days affected" (any partial day is counted as one full day), capped at the monthly fee already paid for the current cycle.
